T2 Systems (T2) has completed its acquisition of Case Parking, a parking data solutions provider, including its Counts in the Cloud solution. The acquisition will expand T2’s vertical portfolio of parking and transportation infrastructure solutions with real-time parking availability data for trip planning and ITS.
T2 will deliver real-time vehicle counts, occupancy and availability data to parking facilities managers through a web-based dashboard and to parkers via smartphone, message signs and websites. This acquisition adds to the unified parking management portfolio in place with T2 Flex and Digital solutions.
With this acquisition, T2 continues the strategy of providing enhanced parking enterprise data analytics for municipalities, universities, hospitals, owners and operators, as well as a broader set of consumer solutions.
Case VP John Couvrette will join T2 and continue to promote Counts in the Cloud and other T2 solutions. He has been instrumental in developing Case Parking’s real-time vehicle-counts platform and has helped many parking operations and their customers maximize use of parking assets.
“John’s background and experience will play a significant role as we continue to expand our ability to provide real-time parking data to our customers,” said Mike Simmons, CEO of T2 Systems. “He has a keen understanding of what key decision-makers within the parking industry need for their customers, and we look forward to having him on our team.
“Real-time parking availability information is our industry’s contribution to the advancement of intelligent transportation systems,” Simmons said. “With the acquisition of Case Parking, we extend our ability to deliver such information for both gated and non-gated off-street parking facilities.”
Also joining T2 will be Max Corotis and Carole Misticawi, in regional sales roles.
