Towne Park’s Brooks Ellis, VP of Operations, and Adam Martinez, District Manager, are leading the planning efforts of the NPA 2015 Convention & Expo taking place Aug. 31-Sept. 3 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
“Ellis and Martinez bring not only knowledge of the industry to the Convention Program Planning Committee, but also a deep desire to build on the growing success of NPA’s annual convention and expo to help strengthen the parking industry,” said Christine Banning, association President.
“As an attendee of NPA conventions through the years, I have learned a great deal that has propelled me forward in my career,” Ellis said. “I enthusiastically welcomed the … role of co-chair as an opportunity to give back to an organization that has supported my professional development in many ways,” he said.
Also, as part of its 2015 convention, the NPA will connect parking pros with the best parking companies in the business in its inaugural career fair held Sept. 1-3 in the expo hall. Employers will have the opportunity to get in front of NPA members, attendees, recent hospitality graduates, Wounded Warriors and other candidates to fill front-line management positions. Job seekers will be given free access to the expo hall to meet with employers and arrange private on-site interviews.
