Now students, faculty, and visitors will be able to use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking at over 3,000 spaces around campus. The company has also launched service in the Cannery Row area of Monterey, California. This is part of the city’s plan to expand contactless parking payment options throughout the city. ParkMobile is already available at 1,500 spaces in off-street lots in Monterey. ParkMobile is integrating the ParkMobile experience within the new Google Pay app. With this integration, Google Pay users can pay for parking in over 240 ParkMobile cities across the U.S. without needing to download a separate parking app or create an account.

Los Angeles World Airports announced the successful demolition of a pedestrian bridge linking Parking Structure 3 to Terminal 3 within the Los Angeles International (LAX) Airport Central Terminal Area (CTA). Although the demolition of this pedestrian bridge was not originally planned to occur until late next year, the reduced traffic volume within the CTA due to the COVID-19 pandemic presented an opportunity to complete the work early with minimal disruption to airport guests.

Focused on repositioning parking properties in gateway cities, the company’s purchase encompasses a total of 82,000 square feet and 475 parking spaces in Manhattan’s coveted Midtown and Upper West Side neighborhoods.
