Southland Printing Company’s John Manno Jr., the company’s President and CEO, retired at the end of February.
John has contributed 48 years of experience to Southland Printing Company and his many achievements will not be forgotten.
Most importantly was his commitment to Southland Printing Company, but John has also had a devotion to many nonprofit organizations including the American Red Cross, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Easterseals, Krewe of Gemini, and The Strand Theater. He is the President of Northwestern State University Foundation.
He plans to enjoy his retirement by spending time with his family, traveling, and continuing his civic duties.
The future of Southland Printing Company is bright, as John’s son Jay Manno will take over the daily operations for the company as president.
Jay Manno has been with the company for twenty years, most recently serving as the Vice President of New Market Development.
He will be the third generation of Mannos to run Southland Printing Company.
