ChargePoint Partners with Customers to Give EV Drivers Discounts

 ChargePoint Places, the newest program from ChargePoint Inc. — which operates what it calls the world’s largest and most open EV-charging network – is designed to connect participating businesses to the largest community of electric vehicle (EV) drivers and to provide EV drivers access to exclusive offers from destinations that offer charging. 
The innovative program enables companies in retail and hospitality to increase their sales by promoting special offers and experiences to ChargePoint’s extensive community of EV drivers, the company said.  
“By joining ChargePoint Places, businesses are highlighting their leadership in corporate responsibility and sustainability,” said Dimitrios Papadogonas, Vice President of Marketing. “They’re [also] attracting new customers who not only share their commitment to the environment, but also are a loyal customer demographic. 
“EV drivers strongly prefer businesses that offer EV charging. With Places,” he said, “businesses find new customers and ChargePoint’s member drivers discover new companies that make them feel welcome.” 
With studies indicating that more than 85% of EV drivers have higher than average household incomes, attracting these customers is good business.
