FastPark and PreFlight Trade Facilities in Houston
Cincinnati-based FastPark Airport Parking has entered into an agreement with PreFlight Airport Parking of Chicago for two offsite parking facilities in Texas and North Carolina.
The Houston airport (IAH) PreFlight facility at 6633 Will Clayton Parkway will become FastPark & Relax, which trades its facility at 3100 Greens Road to PreFlight.
FastPark’s existing Parkway facility will be combined with the acquired facility. After upgrades and renovations, the acquisition will expand its parking capacity from 2,615 to about 4,000 spaces.
The Raleigh airport (RDU) 915-space PreFlight facility at 9600 Lumley Road will become FastPark & Relax.
“We’re pleased to add these two properties to our family of offsite parking facilities,” said Manuel Chavez, FastPark Partner.
“Our acquisition in Raleigh will allow us to expand our presence and welcome new travelers to [our] brand of fast, convenient and personalized service,” Chavez said. “In [Houston], we plan to combine our existing facility with the acquired facility right next door to nearly double our capacity in that market.”
The acquisitions were to be complete as of March 23, 2013, with rebranding and facility upgrades to follow.
