Flash announced a partnership with to bring parking payment capabilities to the dashboards of connected vehicles. The new connected car solution, developed to simplify parking transactions, will be available via Mavi’s OnMyWay Commerce platform.


Beam Global completed an initial deployment for a global automotive company of their first order of EV ARC solar-powered off-grid EV charging systems. The company’s third generation EV ARC product line of solar-powered EV charging systems have a wind rating upgraded to 160 mph. The company also announced that none of its EV ARC products were disabled by Hurricane Idalia. EV ARC systems in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas which were in the direct path of the hurricane continued to provide EV charging and emergency power throughout the storm.


EVgo Inc. announced that it received the first-ever shipment of 350kW fast chargers from Delta Electronics that were manufactured according to Build America, Buy America Act standards. This first shipment marked a milestone in developing the robust domestic supply chain needed to support the growth in EV adoption across the U.S.


Lightning eMotors announced it sold five Lightning ZEV4 shuttle buses to St. Louis Lambert International Airport. STL partner SP Plus Parking will operate the vehicles, transporting passengers between the airport’s two terminals.


Private businesses and governments can now choose their new electric vehicle charger locations with data-driven precision. Kimley-Horn launched TREDLite EV, a cloud-based tool that helps organizations develop their EV charger deployment strategies.


HONK has partnered with the University of Manitoba to make parking on campus simpler and safer for students, staff, and visitors. “We are thrilled to collaborate with HONK to increase and elevate the parking options at UM,” said Cameron Neufeld, Director, Office of Parking & Transportation, University of Manitoba.


Propark Mobility announced that the company has acquired California Parking, a family-run business located in San Francisco, Calif. “For nearly 70 years, the Puccinelli family has led California Parking to great success and established the company as a premier parking provider in the Bay Area,” said Propark CEO David Schmid.


Pivot Parking announced they have been awarded the parking management contract for the City of Wilmington. Operating under the “Park Wilmington” banner, Pivot’s program encompasses facilities including five parking garages, totaling 2,967 parking spaces, and the recent addition of the 929 Garage.

Miami Parking Authority announced that its Board of Directors appointed businessman Marvin Wilmoth as the board’s newest member. Wilmoth is the Managing Principal of Intersection Ventures.


ParkMobile has partnered with the University of New Hampshire to offer parking reservations at Wildcat Stadium, home of the university’s football team. ParkMobile is now available in the City of Cleveland. Parkers can use the ParkMobile app or web browser to pay for on-demand parking at on-street parking spaces throughout Downtown Cleveland. In addition, ParkMobile recently conducted a survey tracking the parking habits and trends of U.S. drivers. According to the study, 82 percent of drivers across the U.S. note that searching for a parking space is a top stressor when driving in urban environments.


Hyundai Motor America is bringing in-vehicle payments to customers with the introduction of Hyundai Payi. The Hyundai Pay system allows customers to find and pay for things with their vehicle’s touchscreen using securely stored credit card information. Hyundai has partnered with Parkopedia to launch the system.


GO TO-U has entered into cooperation with Parkopedia. Harnessing the power of advanced data analytics and machine learning, GO TO-U has established itself as a frontrunner in predicting EV charging demand, optimizing resource allocation, and improving the charging process.


Parkopedia and Blink Charging are working together to provide EV drivers with an improved charging experience. Parkopedia users are now able to access nearly 12,000 Blink public chargers across more than 4,000 U.S. locations, directly through their vehicle head units.


Blink Charging Co. announced it has been selected to provide EV charging solutions for Royal Farms. The Baltimore-based convenience retail chain will install a total of 30 Blink state-of-the-art DC Fast Chargers, providing 60 charging ports and bringing more accessible EV charging to a critical region of the Mid-Atlantic. The installation of three Blink IQ 200 Advanced chargers and three Blink IQ 200 Smart chargers at Jon Henry’s General Store in New Market, Va. has reinforced Blink’s commitment to the Mid-Atlantic Electrification Partnership. The company has also installed EV chargers at five McDonald’s restaurant locations in Puerto Rico to allow customers to charge their EVs while they dine in.

Tracked Machines North America, Inc. announced the North American Release of the CarMoverXL into the North American Automotive Industry. The CarMoverXL, is operated by lithium-batteries and the machine maneuvers under a vehicle and picks a vehicle up by all four-wheels and then moves and transports the vehicle from one area to another.


AppyWay has partnered with Direct Line Group, a UK insurance provider, to enhance the parking experience for its Caha! app users. This collaboration integrates AppyWay’s on-street parking restriction data, aiming to save Caha! users time, money, and fuel during parking. 


The Los Angeles Auto Show is thrilled to confirm that 2023 was its strongest event since the automotive industry’s resurgence from the COVID pandemic. The Los Angeles Auto Show hosted the USA Street Food Awards for its debut in North America. The culinary event celebrated the finest street food vendors in Los Angeles.
