A native of Australia, and qualified Accountant, Paul served in various corporate executive roles as a CFO and economic advisor to developing nations in the Pacific. In 1990, Paul was bitten hard by the parking bug in his first parking role as CEO of a major Australian Parking Management company. He continued to develop his career as an operator, parking facility owner, equipment supplier and consultant, developing the Australian and New Zealand business for DESIGNA.

 

In 2017, Paul moved to the U.S. and began his role as Program Manager for the world’s largest parking contract with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, implementing new integrated systems at the major airports in New York and New Jersey. Successfully completing that project, Paul became Vice President, Projects, leading the Major Projects division of DESIGNA U.S., where he was largely responsible for developing customized systems for some of DESIGNA’s most important customers. Now as Senior Vice President, Paul leads all sales and marketing efforts in the U.S. and Canada.

Early Career – In his 30+ year parking career, Fred has advanced through a variety of organizations while learning every aspect of the parking industry after starting as a valet parking attendant in Chicago in the late 80’s. He went on to work with the best in the industry in the Southeast where he was involved in many early public-private partnerships managing parking operations for Miami Dade County, the City of Coral Gables and the City of Miami Beach throughout the early 90’s.

 

Municipal Revenue Specialist – In 1998, Bredemeyer assisted in the formation of a national parking consulting firm, The Parking Network (TPN). With TPN, Fred successfully proposed and negotiated a contract with the City of Miami to oversee its $13 million Parking Surcharge Program. He also constructed and delivered the winning proposal to service the City of Los Angeles’s $70 million parking tax. He managed both municipal programs with offices in Miami and Los Angeles for two years.

 

Municipal Operations Expertise- After divesting his interest in TPN, Bredemeyer joined the Miami Parking Authority as Chief Operating Officer in February 2005. While there. he spearheaded the implementation of automated revenue control systems, multi-space pay and display meters, pay-by-phone services and other income enhancing technologies. In 2008, he was named the International Parking Institute’s Parking Professional of the Year. Within his five year tenure as Chief Operating Officer, MPA nearly doubled the number of spaces under management and more than doubled their revenue from approximately $14 million to more than $29 million in managed revenue.

 

Private Equity Roll-up – In 2012, Fred had the privilege of joining Park One of Florida as its President. There, he had overall responsibility for providing professional and seamless parking services to more than 175 properties with over 2,000 valued associates. He helped the original owners divest in 2017 through one of the industry’s largest rollups and saw these owners improve their position when selling again in 2019.

 

Community Leader – Bredemeyer’s involvement in the South Florida community extends far beyond parking. He is a past President and board member Kristi House, a South Florida not-for-profit organization that provides a healing environment for child victims of sexual abuse. He is a current board member of the I HAVE A DREAM Foundation and the South Florida Chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

 

Through his expert leadership and extensive background in entrepreneurship, Bredemeyer has successfully positioned PAVE Mobility as a prominent player in the parking industry.
