David Fairbaugh from Preferred Parking in Charlotte says that his company has provided an interactive map for its customers for five years and notes that the Chicago map is a newcomer.
I salute him but note that in the Chicago instance the entire parking industry in the city banded together to provide a service to all customers. This is where we need to be headed if we are to be a grown up industry and not a bunch of independent providers of parking.
Also, I don’t think that any tax dollars went into the Chicago map, but only from the private PILMC
