Bob Kane, recent Sales Manager for Federal APD, has been named President of Designa North America operations as of January 1. Bob tells me that the company basically backed out of the US market about six years ago but now, with him at the helm, is committed to bringing the European Revenue Control Product to North America. He points out that the company has been extremely successful in Europe and Asia, and expects to be very competitive here in the US. He says that he is just spreading the word now and working quickly to get an address and phone/email contact. He will be spending a few weeks in Germany and should be up and running by February 1. He is basing the company in Chicago.
