Frustration

IBM’s big parking study said that people are frustrated with parking. WOW, now there’s a revelation. I have mentioned before that I believe that the frustration comes at the moment of parking — is the space too narrow, lighting too low, payment machine too hard to navigate. Parking frustration comes not from long thoughtful seances about our parking adventures, but about the issues at the moment of placing our car in a space.

So I’m going to spend this afternoon in the exhibit hall looking for products that actually remove a parker’s frustration at the parking moment. Exhibitors beware, I’m a real bastard when it comes to this.  A good spin won’t do it. You have to really REALLY help remove frustration.
