I know I’m focused on San Francisco, but it is such a target rich environment. Paul Barter over at “Reinventing Parking” commented:
San Francisco’s parking reforms, including SFPark, have made it joint winner (with Medellin, Colombia) of the 8th annual Sustainable Transport Award announced in Washington, D.C. on 24 January.
His last line, “Does San Francisco deserve the award?”
Frankly, I think its too soon to say. I hope it works, but as I noted in the previous post, I have my doubts. Let’s give it another year and see. We have a tendency to give awards based on good intentions, and not results.
