This issue of Parking Today is dedicated in part to promoting an upcoming event that holds a special place in the parking industry — the Parking Industry Expo (PIE), the annual conference sponsored by Parking Today Media. Known this year as PIE25, the milestone gathering marks the 25th anniversary of the conference, making it an especially exciting time to attend.
PIE has always been about more than just presentations and exhibits — it’s about connections. Parking Today Media is committed to ensuring that PIE25 is the most engaging and interactive version yet. Whether you’re new to the industry or a longtime professional, PIE25 is designed to help you form meaningful relationships that can benefit your business and career (see pages 22-23 and the inside back cover for more details).
Of course, PIE25 isn’t just about networking. Attendees will gain valuable insights from presentations covering key segments of the parking industry — including higher education, municipalities, private operators, and airports — as well as such fascinating topics as parking standards, artificial intelligence, and the use of parking data to tell stories. Among its new offerings, PIE25 also features Real Talk Forums in which participants address topics like mental health, leadership, and workplace dynamics in facilitated discussions.
As for me, this will be my first time attending PIE, and I couldn’t be more excited to meet the professionals who make this industry thrive. I hope you’ll join us March 31–April 3 in Schaumburg, Illinois, for what promises to be a memorable and rewarding experience. See you at PIE25!
