Indianapolis, IN – June 8, 2026 – Parker Technology today announced the launch of Ambassador, an AI agent for motorist assistance purpose-built for parking and mobility operations. Ambassador handles every inbound touchpoint across a parking operation, from urgent gate calls to permit inquiries, and is now available to parking operators across the US.
Ambassador is trained on each client’s business rules and backed by Parker Technology’s expert customer service team. It comes in two products, designed to match how different operations handle escalations.
Ambassador Live pairs AI with Parker’s customer service representatives (CSRs) as a standing backstop. AI handles each call first and resolves what it can. The moment it needs a human, a Parker CSR steps in. The Parker specialist who answers is a trained Parker employee, subject to the same QA, training, and accountability standards that have defined Parker’s service for over a decade.
Ambassador Assist is AI-only. It handles calls independently and routes anything it cannot resolve to the client’s own team, a voicemail, or a callback. There is no Parker CSR queue involvement. Ambassador Assist is available now for university and municipal operations, where inbound call volume around permits, citations, and parking office lines runs high and is largely understaffed.
Parker Technology has been providing exception call management to parking operators since 2014. The company’s CSRs handle motorist interactions on behalf of parking facilities, applying facility-specific rules to resolve issues that automated systems alone cannot. Ambassador builds an AI layer on top of that existing platform rather than replacing it.
“There is a lot of AI being sold into parking right now, and most of it is sold on call volume. We built Ambassador to be sold on outcomes.” said James Paden, Chief Product Officer at Parker Technology. “Voice AI that handles a call without capturing the revenue is not a win. Ambassador is designed around the same accountability standard our CSR team has always operated under. The human is always in reach, always trained, and always on the line when something goes wrong.”
Ambassador Live works with facilities that use Parker hardware or have a two-way video integration with Flash, Amano, or TIBA. Ambassador Assist is independent of gate hardware entirely, built for calls coming in from cell phones, so PARCS compatibility is not the gating question for university and municipal deployments. Parker Technology’s sole focus is customer service, and Ambassador is built to extend that service across the equipment operators already have in place.
Additional capabilities are in active development and will expand Ambassador’s functionality as they become available.
