Rich
and Associates has been hired to do a comprehensive parking study for the city
of
Des Plaines
Illinois
. The company, based in
the Detroit, MI. area was hired at a cost of $74,947 to conduct the study which
will take four to six months to complete. The primary area Rich will concentrate
on is the downtown area its several street level lots including a four-story,
city-owned parking garage. Aldermen agreed to add on to the study area property
along Jefferson, Perry,
Graceland
and Ida
streets, for another $10,000.
