Space Shuttle Lands at LAX

The Space Shuttle Endeavor landed at LAX on its last fight this afternoon around 1 PM Pacific Time. Here are some shots.  The 747 with the shuttle on board did two passes over LAX before landing.  Here’s the first pass with its landing gear up:

A thrilling but bittersweet end to a fantastic space program.
