Ok, its not parking, but its a great story.

A couple of traffic officers in Scotland were checking speed using a hand held radar detector. They suddenly got a reading of 300 MPH and then the radar detector shut down and they couldn’t reset it. They realized they had picked up a Royal Air Force Jet on low level maneuvers.

Their sergeant wrote a curt letter to the local RAF office…Here was the reply:

"Thank you for your message, which allows us to complete the file on this incident. You may be interested to know that the tactical computer on the Tornado automatically locked on to your "hostile radar equipment" and sent a jamming signal back to it. Furthermore, the Sidewinder air to ground missiles aboard the fully-armed aircraft had also locked on to the target. Fortunately the Dutch pilot flying the Tornado responded to the missile status alert intelligently and was able to override the automatic protection system before the missile was launched."

Wow

Great story, but its FALSE — read all about it here…
