This is intriguing…The Central Connecticut State University wanted to build a garage. They then went out to bid and got a bunch of designs. They awarded the contract to consortium A, but strangely enough, the design of the garage looks like the design put forward by company B. Company B is now suing everyone in sight. Read about it here.
I have no clue as to whether or not this lawsuit has any merit. But it does show that the perception of corruption can almost be worse that the corruption itself.
