- Is the national competence center of Switzerland for all issues related to parking
- Represents the interests of private and public operators of parking facilities and parking areas (including municipalities and public institutions as operators of public street parking)
- Encourages collaboration and the exchange of experience between its members
- Advises and supports operators and constructors of parking facilities towards authorities and other institutions
- Is the contact for suppliers of systems, materials and services for parking facilities
- Maintains relations with parking organizations in other countries and represents Switzerland in the European Parking Association (EPA)
- Awards the European Standard Parking Award ESPA
