Bob Hindle, VP at Parking Concepts

It is with deep sadness we share the news that our dear friend, Robert “Bob” Hindle passed away on April 10th, 2023, at the age of 76. Bob was an admired and respected member of Parking Concepts since 1991.
When he began his career with PCI, it quickly became clear to everyone that Bob wasn’t just a coworker, but an important and beloved part of the PCI family. Bob was a driving force guiding us toward success both inside our walls and within the industry.

In his six-decade career, Bob worked for three separate parking companies, rose to the position of Senior Vice President, helped establish the Los Angeles Parking Association, became a recognized mainstay by the Los Angeles City Government, was a trusted friend to the Teamsters Union, which represented many of the area’s parking employees, had a cordial and even warm relationship with many of his competitors, was a treasured mentor to many in the industry, and a valued partner to many of Southern California’s municipal parking directors.

Everyone who had the opportunity to meet Bob walked away knowing that he was an intelligent, kind, and caring gentleman. In many ways, it can be said that Bob changed the course of the parking industry, especially in Southern California.

Bob passed away peacefully and is now with his son, brother, and parents once more. He may be gone, but Bob is not forgotten. Although he is no longer here with us to share in our times of laughter and joy, his memory will live on.

On behalf of everyone at Parking Concepts, we express our sincerest condolences to Bob’s family, friends, and colleagues. At this time, please think of the way that Bob was always there for us and try to do the same by comforting one another.
