Parking solutions provider Reimagined Parking announced the appointment of Rick West as its chief executive officer (CEO). Having spent more than 30 years in the parking industry, West has deep experience as an operator of parking garage businesses such as the Millennium Parking Concession, Central Parking Corporation, and Parking Company of America Airports. Reimagined Parking also announced the completion of a private capital transaction that significantly reduced its senior secured debt through an infusion of new capital from the company's existing financial partners and brings it under the ownership of a consortium of institutional investment management firms.
EasyPark Group, a provider of digital parking and mobility solutions, announced the completion of its strategic acquisition of the urban mobility solutions provider Flowbird Group. Cameron Clayton, current CEO of EasyPark Group, has been appointed as the CEO of the new joint company. Frédéric Beylier, the current CEO of Flowbird Group, is leaving the company. The joint company will be owned by the investment firms Vitruvian Partners, Verdane, and Searchlight Capital Partners L.P.
Smart parking solutions provider ParkHelp announced the completion of the initial installation of its parking guidance sensors for LA Metro. Conducted at LA Metro’s Arcadia parking lot, the installation marks the first U.S. deployment of ParkHelp’s G5 in-ground sensor that delivers real-time occupancy information to commuters via highly visible signage. Through its partnership with LA Metro, ParkHelp plans to install its parking guidance technology across all LA Metro parking facilities.
HONK, a provider of contactless payments for parking, has partnered with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) to introduce a parking reservation system that simplifies parking for those commuting for work and education, while enhancing operational efficiency across the campus. HONK also announced its recent launch at the University Park campus of Penn State University, where drivers now can pay for parking using the HONK App as well as tap-to-pay and text-to-pay options.
In-Parking, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI)-driven parking intelligence solutions, announced its integration with Passport Labs, the provider of parking compliance and curbside payment solutions. This alliance will enable all Passport users to enhance their data capture and analysis opportunities. The In-Parking SIGHT platform will integrate seamlessly with Passport’s compliance, payment, and permitting solutions to gain greater insights into operations and facilitate actionable, data-driven decisions and policies.
The City of Chattanooga, Tennessee, has begun using the full platform provided by the parking management technology provider Park Loyalty. With the addition of Process Pro and Permit Pro, the city is now building a fully integrated parking management ecosystem that enhances enforcement, streamlines violation processing, and improves public access to permits and reservations.

Parking technology provider EnSight Technologies has been chosen by the parking operations company Towne Park to implement an advanced AI-based parking guidance and occupancy management system at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, and the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. (Towne Park manages the parking facilities of both resorts.) The system will feature a vision-based machine learning hybrid approach, utilizing intelligent cameras to
provide comprehensive, real-time space-occupancy monitoring in the parking facilities of each of
the resorts.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS), home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’s Atlanta United, announced a new partnership with the event parking technology provider ParkHub. Launched February 10, the partnership leverages ParkHub’s suite of parking technologies, including its flagship reservation products — EventPass, SeasonPass, and CompPass — as well as its Suite platform for real-time operations management. These tools will enable MBS to centralize parking operations, track and report activity, and gain valuable insights to ensure fan satisfaction.

In-vehicle commerce provider Parkopedia and AWT Bavaria Ukraine, in conjunction with automaker BMW AG, have completed the integration of 4,272 Ukrainian electric vehicle (EV) charge points into selected BMW models and the MyBMW app, improving the driving and charging experience for BMW EV drivers in the country. This new partnership enables Parkopedia and AWT Bavaria Ukraine, the official importer for the BMW Group in Ukraine, to ensure the greatest possible convenience for their EV drivers in the second-largest country in Europe.
Parking and mobility technology provider Flash announced the hiring of Jim Zeitunian as chief technology officer (CTO). In this role, Zeitunian assumes leadership of Flash’s global engineering, product management and design, and quality assurance teams and reports to Flash president Chris Donus. Separately, Flash announced it has achieved HITRUST Certification for its PARCS and Valet solutions. The achievement confirms Flash’s data security practices meet the highest standards trusted by 81% of U.S. hospitals and health systems, according to the company.

The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority (SRAA), operator of Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), in Syracuse, New York, has launched a new online parking reservations tool. Customers may pre-book parking for any date up to 24 months from the date of booking, provided the reservation end date falls within that 24-month period. Bookings can be completed using the widget located on the airport’s website, FlySyracuse.com.

During a 3-month pilot of its automated bus stop enforcement system in Braga, Portugal, Hayden AI detected nearly 8,000 parking violations at bus stops. For the pilot, which ended in mid-December 2024, Hayden AI’s bus-mounted technology — which uses computer vision and edge processing to detect parking and moving violations in bus stops and bus lanes that obstruct public transport — was installed on 2 buses operating on multiple lines. In addition to Braga, Hayden AI recently launched an automated bus lane and bus stop enforcement pilot in Barcelona, Spain, with Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB).

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) announced the release of the 2025 edition of its flagship document, “ACI CODE-318-25: Building Code for Structural Concrete – Code Requirements and Commentary.” ACI CODE-318-25 remains the definitive resource for the materials, design, and detailing requirements of structural concrete buildings and nonbuilding structures. SpotHero, the parking reservation marketplace, announced the appointment of parking industry veteran Nate Phillips to chief revenue operations. Nate joined SpotHero as general manager of the West Region in 2016 and was promoted to vice president of enterprise sales and client development in 2019. He subsequently served as senior vice president of market development since September 2021.
