These guys don’t pull any punches. If one wonders why Central couldn’t sell itself read about its financial performance. Which, by any measure has been abysmal.
What I know about the stock market you could put on the head of a pin, however I do know that companies are supposed to make money. If you continue to look at Central’s reports, they, quite frankly, aren’t. It seems that CPS has had a 4 percent growth in revenues but a 18% REDUCTION in profit. WOW…
The only other public company in which you can directly purchase stock (AMPCO SYSTEM is a part of publicly held ABM) is Standard and according to the Fool, it has done better than Central, and although these guys think its a bit overpriced, they say that its not a bad buy. Central’s Stock has been floating between 13 and 18 for the past year and closed today at 15.77.
