A New Name for Robotic’s Founder

I really wasn’t going to comment on this story until I spoke to the protagonist, but I just can’t resist. The founder of Robotic Parking. Gerhard Haag, has changed his name. Read about it here.

Now, I can probably understand the problem. He has had a bit of a rocky road over the past few years, deserved or not. However it seems that he’s doing this to make his business activity in Dubai a bit smoother. He will continue to use his "current" name here in the US.

I’m going to speak to Gerhard when I’m at the IPI next week and get to the bottom of this, however I can’t resist the line sent in by a correspondent in Florida.

On the name change its nice to see that he went with something inconspicuous

Thanks, Phil — I couldn’t agree more. See what you think — follow the link above and see if you agree.

  1. AMAZING. I GUESS IT WILL TAKE HIM THREE OR MORE YEARS TO GET USED TO HIS NEW NAME OR IS HE JUST HIDING FROM HIS DEBACLE IN HOBOKEN. IT TOOK HIM OVER THREE YEARS TO MOVE ONE CAR. AND NOW HIS ENTIRE SO CALLED OPERATION IS NO LONGER IN HOBOKEN.
BUT THAT LITTLE FACT DOES NOT GET PRINTED

  2. Obviously there is a vast worldwide conspiracy against poor misunderstood Gerhard. People according to him wanted to steal his technology and constantly wrote bad things about him, these bad things are easily accessed by doing an internet search using one of his names or that of his company.
These conspirators are so cleaver they even brainwashed some current and former employees and many have civil suits pending against Gerhard.
