Bangor Can’t Track Scofflaws

I was scrolling down our Facebook page and wasn’t surprised to find that civilians are more parking savvy than some cities. Bangor, ME, is unable to find 1200 scofflaws and force payment of fines. They keep track on a list. How is the officer supposed to find the number. Tim has it right. For goodness sake this is Bangor, not Boston. Can anyone say excel? All the officer would have to do is radio the license number to headquarters and the dispatcher keys in the LN and sees if it’s on the list. Take 10 seconds. They wouldn’t have to catch very many until the populace got the word. Sheesh You should check the PT facebook page out – folks over there don’t pull punches.
