Sorry for the hiatus. I have been playing in London but got back to work yesterday at the Parkex show. This is put on by the British Parking Association and is held at Earls Court, a grand exhibition center in London.
There are about 100 exhibitors and over 1000 attendees for the two day event — Yesterday I attended one of the conference sessions. PT’s European Correspondent, Peter Guest, gave a presentation on "Best Practices." These would be a series of recommendations on everything from equipment specs to contracts, to how often you should sweep out a garage. It non binding, but gives those who care a place to start.
He will be speaking at PIE — We talked about his speech this AM and I think he will concentrate on "what’s happening in Europe Technology wise." They are usually about 5 years ahead of us and this could give you a peek into our future.
