Sacramento, CA, has discovered it has a murkey parking rule. Wanda over on our Facebook Page brought this little problem to light. Read about it here.
Seems that if your meter runs out, you must move your car ‘out of the business district.’ Or maybe to another block. Or at least off the same block.
The idea is to keep employees from taking all the prime spaces. Fair enough. However as was pointed out in the article, clarity is needed. Is there a way to solve the problem AND let customers park long enough to do their business?
Sure, raise the prices. Customers will pay it, employees will scoot into the local garages.
