Wow!!! Reino Enforcement Technologies has merged with Duncan. This makes Reino the largest company of its type in the industry.
Reino has come a long way since South African Syd Reinhart and his wife Nicki moved to Australia and installed their first Multi-Bay meter down under. I have tracked the company’s movements for the past decade, first in Australia, then its growth here with Patrick Ryan at the helm, and now, within the past year, its explosive growth by acquisition has been nothing but phenomenal.
First it merged with Enforcement Technology, then it purchased Citation Management, and in a strategic move merged with the largest maker of parking meters, Duncan.
It seems that the management of Citation and Duncan will stay in place. Good move on Reino’s part.
I predicted three years ago that the time was ripe for consolidation in our little industry. Well, I guess I have to say that I was right again.
