Funny How People React

In November’s PT we are featuring Consultants. I asked a group of revenue control equipment manufacturers what they thought of consultants and got an earfull. Of course none would go on the record, so I wrote the article from the "unknown vendor" point of view.

To be fair, I reached out to some of the major consulting firms, let them see the original story, and asked for a response. Most were happy to oblige. They took the article in the spirit it was written and responded with a few ideas for vendors from the consultant’s point of view.

A few, however took offense and declined to get into a ‘mudslinging’ match. WOW this is neat. Finally a controversy into which we can sink our teeth.

I know its a month away, but we have to think that way when we publish magazines. Look for the November PT, the usual rather staid consulting issue may have a few fireworks.
