This Video has gone viral. Check it out. It shows a driver parking in a parallel space about a foot longer than his car, six inches in front, six in back. He makes it and everyone thinks its grand.
I just had the grill (plastic) and bumper (plastic) fixed on my car to the tune of $1200 dollars. You can see both cars moving when he bumps them. Is this a good thing? I think not. It takes only a slight nudge to crack a grill, or a simple swipe to change the surface of a modern bumper. Its bad enough when you do it yourself. No need to challenge nincompoops like this guy with a viral video.
Great fun, unless your car happens to be the one getting the ‘bump.’
