I get this question all the time — the other question is:
Why didn’t you print an article about (Pick a subject)…Its mostly about new people or new products.
Getting coverage in PT or on this blog is easy — simply write (email) me the information. I’ll take it from there. The more complete the information you send, the quicker you will get it in the magazine.
But remember — articles about your company although they may be interesting to you, are looked upon as advertising by our readers. We can, however, print stories about products and services, if they are "different," "unique," or solve specific problems that readers may have.
So — want your new head of R and D to be recognized in PT, send in a 50 word "blurb" and it will go in the next issue.
Want your product or company to be covered — send me a story idea that "spins" the article away from you and toward a customer who had a success. I’ll fall all over myself to get it into the mag.
Its that easy.
