At the University of California, Berkeley they have a special “NL” designation for reserved parking. Spaces marked with it are for, wait for it, Nobel Laureates. Hey, why not? Beside all the recognition and the million bucks for their good work I think a reserved space a few feet from their office is a great idea. B y the way, Berkeley has eight Laureates on the faculty.
I wonder if when President Obama comes to town his Nobel Prize trumps the fact that he is president.
