I think they got it backwards

Boston Logan International airport is opening about 2500 additional spaces between now and the end of the year.  They are starting a program to allow reserved parking for an additional $5 a day  plus a $200 registration fee.  Let’s see, in the past few years there was a real problem with not enough parking and there was no reservation program, now where there’s a lot of additional parking, they are instituting the new program.  Huh?

I love the comment by a prospective parker:

Some find the sign-up fee prohibitive. Michael A. Sandman, a business
consultant with Fuld & Co. Inc. in Cambridge, said: “Two hundred
bucks a year for a guaranteed space is nuts. For that much money,
Massport should pick me up in my car at my office and hand me the keys
when I fly back."

How can you not agree with that.  The off airport parking operations must be loving it in Boston
