You know what I think of giving “free” parking based on the type of car you drive. I think its idiotic. Here’s an article about some “green” activity in Nashville. Correspondent Mark nails it:
Proposals like this always get me. They push people to buy fuel efficient hybrids in an attempt to reduce our consumption of oil, then they give them an incentive to drive more. That’s like rewarding someone with a free double cheeseburger because they ordered a diet coke.
