Indianapolis in P and D vs P by Space Test

The City of Indianapolis has begun a test of Pay by Space vs Pay and Display.  I am following this closely. I will be in the Indiana city next month and will check out the progress.

You know that I feel that both have their place — P by Space is a bit more convenient on the parker (you don’t have to go back to the car and drop off the parking receipt) and easier to enforce, however P and Display doesn’t require marking the spaces (a problem where one wants to keep the street scape less cluttered or where one has snow) and by all accounts enables a city to not have to mark individual spaces and thus have more space available (up to 10%)
