I’m in Vegas for the IPI show, been here since Friday. Lots to do including meetings with parking folks and set up, plus just a little time at the tables. The Show starts tomorrow and you can depend on erratic blogging for the next few days, but I will be reporting from the floor.
I have noticed one thing I had forgotten about Las Vegas. It is a city of chaos. Everywhere you go your senses are assaulted by noise, music, light, sound, images of all sorts. It is also, of course, a city of the most incredible sights…
I was driving up the strip with a friend who asked me to drop him off at his hotel. He actually said:
Its the castle on the left, just past the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty. Its just before the Sphinx and the Pyramid. He forgot to mention the dancing fountains, the exploding mountain, and of course the Venetian Canals, the battle sinking the pirate ships and that Roman Palace. Of course all that was in about half a mile.
