Issues at the Virginia Tech

I find that colleague and sometime writer for PT Charlie Munn is a VT alum. He tells me that he has spoken to their parking department and that the tragedy there has had issues relating to parking. These folks couldn’t just "go home" after the shooting, but had to be there to handle more than 600 vehicles belonging to the press, and the surge of other parking activity that took place in the aftermath.

Charlie is going up to VT this week and will be preparing a report on the situation, parking wise, for Parking Today. Look for it in out June Issue.

It may seem inconsequential based on the enormity of the event, but frankly parking vehicles is a problem and if it can be made easier, other events seem to flow smoother.
