$75 a barrel for oil and Calgary is booming. People are streaming to the Canadian "Houston" and parking is scarce. A survey says that parking there costs C$375 on average a space — That’s C$75 more than Toronto. Why? Supply and demand. It is what it is. Its like the law of gravity. No Wonder Parking Authority head Dale Frasier can afford all that new parking equipment and technology. I understand that the new automatic "chalking" system they installed from Tannery Creek is through its testing phase and working well. Great for both.
