They are "testing" valet parking run by the airport at Los Angeles. They are charging $38 a day (regular $30). You have to enter a garage and then valet will then take your vehicle. When you return you can go to the garage and have your vehicle brought to you, or you can call em from the terminal and it will be ready when you arrive.
It is poised to assist only those using the international terminal (most of whom don’t drive) or the American Airlines terminal. All the rest are frankly too far to walk.
Sorry, LAX. I love you and use you but this doesn’t cut it. I can valet park off airport 10 feet from a shuttle. The shuttle will then drop me off directly in front of the entrance to my terminal. No walking, no schlepping. Upon my return i have a four minute shuttle ride, am dropped off next to my car, and I simply drive out. Payment is already charged to my credit card. Oh yes, its half the price.
Private sector wins again, I think

I was reading about the valet parking situation in LAX. I came across this website which offers valet parking service in Los Angeles. The site mentions something about LAX parking solutions. Anyhow, I thought it was an interesting private sector solution.
