The folks in Logan UT have solved their downtown parking problem. They went to the local Well Fargo Bank which had extra spaces, cut a deal to rent the spaces from the bank (at a buck a month) and is opening up the space for use by folks visiting downtown. Sure its only 38 spaces but will make a big difference. Read about it here.
The bank gets some unused spaces off its back — the city takes over maintenance and enforcement. Everyone is happy.
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 1000 times (yikes, I sound like my mom) there is almost always plenty of parking in an area, you just have to go out and find it.
