Had lunch today with Herb Citrin, the recently retired founder of Valet Parking Services in LA, who took the occasion to let me know that he is no longer retired. In fact, he is working for Laz Parking, consulting on business development in Los Angeles. Herb had mentored Sunset Parking Michael Harth years ago. Laz bought Sunset (more on that later) and they asked Herb for some help.
Herb told me he was flattered by the request and cut his deal. Herb is now assisting with the marketing of Laz/Sunset in SD and LA. Not to shabby to get a new job when you are well into your 80th decade. " I was bored," Herb told me. "Working keeps you young." He should know.

80th decade? So he’s 800 years old?
