Marcy Sparrow Named PT Director of Sales and Operations

Parking Today Media announced today that Marcy Sparrow has been promoted to the position of National Director of Sales and Operations. She has been with PT Media for 14 years, focusing primarily on advertising and Parking Industry Expo booth sales and has been responsible for the outstanding growth seen by the company over the past decade.

In her new position she will continue to manage our sales force plus organize, manage, and sell the Parking Industry Expo.

Marcy stepped up and took over the management of PIE in 2019 when we had an abrupt personnel change and created one of the most successful events in our history. She led us through the morass that was PIE 2020 and its cancellation. She has turned that pandemic caused disaster into an upcoming success with PIE 2021 now located in Schaumberg, IL. As of this date more than 60% of the trade show floor is sold and it looks to be a sell out.

“Marcy brings her sales expertise plus a long history of successful organizational and operational skills to bear on her new position and we at PT look forward to more successes in the years to come,” said PT Publisher John Van Horn. “Marcy has been a leader at PT for the past year and a half and this new position is perfect for her talent and skills.”

  1. Marcy, congratulations and well deserved. Although we have never personally met, your product(s) and delivery are always spot-on! Best regards, Stephen.

  2. Congratulations, Marcy, from a fellow Mt. Lebanon High School alumnus (Pittsburgh, PA). Along with Mark Cuban, another alumnus, the two of you have really have become big successes in life (and you in parking)!

  3. Way to go Marcy, Knowing you for the past 14 years has been a very positive impact on my parking ventures. You are wonderful and I am very happy for your new position. Hope to see you soon.
