I met up with NPA Executive Director Marty Stein on the floor of the IPI. He was his usual gracious and charming self. He told me he had met with Kim Jackson (his IPI opposite number) and congratulated her on a great show. He then slipped in some "Martyisms" like "I’m feeling like a gater in a swamp." I’m a city boy and need some translation on that one.
He’s got a convention coming up in October in California. I’m looking forward to that one. Marty says he goes for quality, not quantity.
