Folks living on the west side of Los Angeles woke up to bright sunshine for the first time since Late April. Yes, we have had fog every morning (OK with two exceptions) for the past two and a half months. It actually rained on Saturday evening. We are used to “May Gray” and even “June Gloom” but having it continue this long into July is unprecedented.
I know all of you sweltering in the northeast think I’m crazy for complaining about cool, foggy weather, but it does get old. Seeing the sun this morning was like getting a new lease on life. There is a spring in the step, a smile on the face, and feeling that all is right with the world.
