Parking Strikes Out, Maybe Yankee’s Don’t

One more comment on the post below – What will happen in the end is that the city will sell off these garages for probably a quarter of their cost and absorb the loss, or will screw the bondholders (where have we seen that happen before.) The new owner will not have the tremendous debt to retire and will be able to run them profitably. Anyone want to guess who that new owner will be? Can you say pinstripes and Steinbrenner’s heirs?
