Parking Wars Gives Officers Positive PR

Some of the enforcement staff at the Philadelphia Parking Authority are reporting that after four years of the TV reality show “Parking Wars” local citizens are seeing them more as human beings and not evil machines that clamp their cars and cost them money. Read about it here.

I will eat a bit of crow because from the beginning I though “Parking Wars” was a net negative on the parking industry. It turns out that by letting viewers know a more “human” side of the officers, locals seems to see their activities in a better light and actually come up to them and ask about their families and pets who have been featured on the show.

Good for the “actors” on Parking Wars. If it works, I’m all for it.
