I knew Ron left International Parking Design but didn’t know what was next for him. I got a note today that he is starting a new firm — Parking Design Consulting. He will be working out of Valencia, CA.
I’ve known Ron for years. One story was about the model of a Boxter he had on his desk. I asked him about it and he said he always wanted one — and he got one, a real one, for a seminal birthday, was it his 40th or 50th… Anyway you never saw a happier guy

What kind of market is there for parking consulting right now. I visit or have worked at many locations with parking problems, but between the all the parties at any particular location the problem is often just patched by someone that knows nothing about parking. I have thought hard about entering this market, but don’t know enough about it yet. MPL
