That’s the idea — Charge and no one complains…

A mall in Charleston has finally got the idea — charge for parking and solve a problem. They had been charging a flat rate and giving away short term parking. Of course people were abusing the short term parking so they installed meters.  Read about it here.

In the end — they will probably be forced to raise prices even more, but their parking issues will be solved.

The important thing about this article is how few complaints there were. In fact most people said it was more "fair" and all right with them.

Ok Merchants — listen to your customers.  Charging for parking is a good thing.
