The British Parking Association has hired a public relations firm to promote itself and the parking industry in jolly olde England. (and Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland). Seems the Limeys have determined that if they are to succeed with their goal of promoting parking, they need a professional approach.
Here in the US, our parking organizations continue to go it alone, with news releases non existent (except maybe promoting themselves). How nice it would be for the main stream media to get a monthly report on the parking business. You know, good news, not another article on a murder in a garage or some renegade city council raising parking taxes or meter rates again.
