The’re UP in Arms in Sydney

The Local City Council in the Macquerie Park area of Sydney, in the land of OZ, is holding off the anti Shoupistas and a potential ‘City by the Bay" award.  But its getting close.

Seems the locals in the area are reaching the point of riot over the fact that the city is installing parking meters in some limited areas of this commercial and residential area of Sydney. The place is admittedly a parking mess, and meters would definitely solve the problem, but naturally merchants are crying and residents are wringing their hands, and of course the problems wear on.

My guess? The politicos will not have the strength of character to do what is right and the meters will be removed, or not installed.
