Two Big Surprises

We have two special events at PIE 2006 this year. One is the PIE II seminar being held in LA at the same time. Sandra Watson is running that event which is being tied in to the main show in Chicago by Internet CCTV.  We are going to share some seminars, including on street, IT, and Don Shoup.  The surprise. We are at nearly 100 participants, 70 for the seminar and another 20 plus exhibitor personnel. We are very pleased.  We’ll fill the room at USC.  Thank the parking gods for this one. Now if the technology works, it should be GREAT…

The airports seminar in Chicago.  We planned a day long seminar on parking for airports.  Gavin Duncan at Leigh Fisher and Greg Leean at CEG have been helping me put it together.  It promises to be a success, too. I had expected about 30 people. We are now in excess of 40, with airports, consultants, operators, and vendors speaking and handling "round table" sessions throughout the day.

It is going to be a happy 10th birthday party for PT and PIE next week in Chicago
